Schedule for the time ahead – UPDATED

Hello everyone,

I have been quite silent as of late on socials, newsletter and even when it comes to restocks.

There is a reason to that and people that want to know more can read through the bottom of this post.

For all the other please just note that, starting this coming week we’ll have to take some break here and there, and most of them are not yet clearly defined in date.

We are working behind the scene and preparing restock of VTES, SWCGG, STCCG, LOTR TCG and more, there’s a lot coming, I have just been very short on time and very busy with other things not related to the store.

I’ll try to keep this post updated with the date we will be closed as soon as I have them,

For now

From Friday 24th June to Friday 1st July the store will be closed completely (as you won’t be able to submit orderss). This is because I am not 100% sure I will be able to re open on 1st July.

We could potentially close either first, second or third week of September. TBD. It could extend to 2 weeks.

Long Story Short

Now for the reason, which I feel is correct to share at least from a professional perspective, so that you guys know what’s happening and I’m not going “Summer vacation mode”.

My wife has a “rare” autoimmune disease, which is not curable.

The name is Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Lupus or SLE for short.

You can have a look online if you wish to inform yourself further.

There are many symptoms, different for everyone, and after almost 20 years, in these last 2 years it got into an acute phase, flares, which involved heart, liver and intestine.

We have gone through a lot in all these years, but lately it became quite difficult, and as we have a daughter 6yo and I’m currentyl running 2 jobs, I’m now at a point where I need a break from somewhere to take care of my family and my personal mental health, as I’m really risking a burnout.

We have period of hospitalization for her ahead, and that will make things better, hopefully for her, but more complicated for me.

As I don’t want to leave anyone hanging for a deal, or waiting too long for their orders, and also because I need to cut off a bit, against my financial interest, I took the choice to close here and there when needed.

I sincerely hope this whole situation will normalize and that she’ll get back into a remission status as soon as possible.

Again, I’m saying this out loud only because I think a seller, of any kind, would leave a bad impression if he close whenver he wishes without any explanation, even more so in a niche market as ours, where I routinely speak to most of you.

Thanks everyone for your understanding!

A close friend and colleague has Lupus, thus I know how difficult it is to handle it sometimes. Truly hope for the best for your wife and your family! Hang in there!

Hello Fabio, good decision! Nothing as important as family. Great respect for you. Important to take care of yourself, so you can take care of others.
